Blackberry

Most people trade phones every year. New model comes out, with new features, so they have to have the newest gadget. This is where the iPad craze lives on. My Blackberry was already 3 years old, until it finally broke down. Or I should say, the jog wheel was kaput. So finally after three years, I can play with a new gadget. A new Blackberry… at least new for me!

Crackberry.com, the site for highly addicted BlackBerry users has posted a breaking story: Blackberry might introduce a BB watch. After we merged the phone with our laptop and introduced smart phones which can take pictures and video, now we are going to merge these devices with our watch.

All I can say: I want one of those!

Only a couple of weeks left in the Berry Season, so I thought we would go all berry this week in the Sunday Smoothie. Well, not completely all berry, we just add some other ingredients for the taste. Ingredients:

  • Raspberry
  • Strawberry
  • Blackberry
  • Blueberry
  • One white Peach
  • Mint leaves
  • Basil leaves

This time I learned my lesson. You put the fruit first in the blender and throw ice cubes  when you already blended the fruit. This way the ice won’t get stuck at the bottom of your blender, and you will get a juicy smoothie from the start.

I have to say, this particular smoothie was the best so far. All the berries gave it a fruity and sweet taste. And because I only added ice at the end , the ratio between fruit and crushed ice was a better mix.
