Just did some jobs in Mafia Wars on Facebook, when I spotted this ad:
Triggered by the ad, I clicked on it. Boom, there goes 50 cents! Off course this ads tricks you into clicking on it using a strong brand. The ad actually goes to: shopster.com.
Shopster is the Free Merchant Network that lets you build a store, connect to other merchants, find products to sell and sell your own products through new channels.
Probably the ad is placed by one of shopsters affiliates. They pay out $1 per new subscriber. I can smell fraud from a miles distance, and this is easy to fabricate.
I’m about to hop on a trip to China, and I’m sure I can persuade some people in internet cafe’s to sign up for 50 cents. I smell money when I see easy, fraudulent business…
